Namita Gandhi, M.S.,
M.B.A., M.A., a practicing clinical exercise physiologist, the founding
president of the Integrative Movement Clinic, Inc., a published researcher , the founder of the PainPals , a dynamic speaker and an exceptional
teacher , is the innovator of this revolutionary
MoveBeyondPain® program.
Her clinical experience
(including work at a cardiac and pulmonary rehabilitation program), her
strong educational background, her personal experience with chronic
pain and fibromyalgia combined with her extensive exposure to holistic
health topics, have given her a unique perspective in effectively
managing chronic pain.
Ms. Gandhi's integrative
approach to healing combines simple yet powerful body movements with
other effective therapeutic modalities. Being a movement therapist, she
is constantly striving to find creative ways to incorporate optimal
body movement in an individual's lifestyle. The primary goal of her
therapy is to improve the quality of life of people with chronic pain
by empowering them. Helping people with chronic pain is her true
passion and specialty.
Since the summer of
2005, Ms. Gandhi has taught her day long MoveBeyondPain® program
seminars to more than thousand health professionals, all over the
United States.
Ms. Gandhi serves on
the Oregon Pain Management
Commission, and the Arthritis Action Plan
Coalition. She is a two time winner of the Leaders Against
Pain scholarship from the National Fibromyalgia Association and a member of the American Society of Pain
Educators and the Pain Society of Oregon.
